In complete disagreement with the bad reviews some people have left here. This hotel has got everything you need for any traveler/tourist in NYC. It is extremely well located, just 2 blocks away from the nearest subway station where you will get to Manhattan in less than 20min. Objectively speaking, the place is all you pay for. When you compare to pricey places in Manhattan that aren’t even as good in service, you truly understand some of the flaws. It is true you don’t get daily cleaning service, but it is scheduled on demand. I do not need someone cleaning my room everyday if I act as if I was at my own place. Every time I asked for cleaning service, it was provided the same day, and I was there for 15 days. No reason to complain. The service was extremely good. Every girl in the counter would be kind and the staff was also very supportive. Nothing to complain about.

You get what you paid for ; room was clean, smelled good, staff was very kind, they offer parking for 30$/night, great overall place. Very close to the public transport. Don’t expect a 5 star hotel, it’s not and that’s ok (a room under 100$ in nyc, that’s amazing)

Hotel is at a decent location, near the subway. The A/C works really well, so it’s perfect for the summer. The neighborhood wasn’t bad either, and there are stores and delis nearby, which was convenient. Overall, pretty good spot for the price. Our stay was smooth and we had no issues.

stay was amazing Location is very nice and very close to Subway entrance. Can be a little suspicious at times, but there are families walking and cops at corners and the corner store is amazing has everything. It’s 24 hours too. We were a little scared to stay here after reading their reviews but everything was amazing. Room was clean. Bed was clean. Bathroom was a little small but perfect for two people in a king room. Front desk kept our luggage till 3 since we got there early. Overall stay was amazing

I’ve stayed at the Romana twice and both visits went smoothly. The rooms are clean and neat, the staff is friendly, and I got my deposit back in under 24 hours. Great location near the subway, best value for the price in NYC.

I absolutely loved my experience here. The room was immaculate and a great deal. King size bed with a panoramic view of Queens. For the price, it's one of the best deals in town. It's walkable to the ferry across to the upper east side of New York and the subway is nearby to Midtown. The hotel Front Desk management was incredibly polite and helpful. Would do this again in a heartbeat.
